The Shrieking Shack is located on the outskirts of Hogsmeade. Villagers are terrified of the place, since they believe it's haunted. Every full moon you can hear shrieks, howls and other ghastly noises coming from this abandoned house...

| The Whomping Willow
The Whomping Willow is often referred to as "that tree that tried to attack us as we went past it," or "that insane tree that tries to kill everyone." In truth, it guards the way to a certain forbidden destination, as people who are stupid enough to get close enough to it will see by the knob on its trunk. Of course, those idiots don't often remember that knob as the tree usually attacks them and they end up in the Hospital Wing, or worse. In other words, beware of this tree - which is why it's out of bounds.
